Building Excellence With a Personal Commitment.
Since its founding in 1996, Massey Construction Corp. has been a cornerstone of the North Shore, delivering exceptional construction services with a dedication to quality, integrity and client satisfaction. As a locally owned and operated business, we understand the character and needs of communities from Boston to the North Shore.
While MCC was founded by Michael Massey, our family's commitment to craftsmanship in Swampscott reaches back much further. In 1931 Michael's grandparents, John and Gertrude Massey, established Massey Plumbing & Heating Co. It quickly became a trusted name across the North Shore and is widely considered the oldest continuously operating business in Swampscott. Michael's brother Rick runs it today, and the two companies still work together when a project is the right fit. The roots go back further still: in the 1870s, Gertrude's family, the Casagrandes, cut stone in the Gloucester quarries.
Before founding MCC, Michael built an extensive background in estimating and project management at large general contractors, supervising and estimating major projects across the Boston market and helping one firm establish its public sector presence. He founded MCC in 1996 and immediately secured DCAMM certification to bid public work.
From day one he instilled meticulous attention to detail, on-time delivery and exceptional workmanship. That standard continues today with Michael working alongside his sons, Justin and Trevor, approaching every project with the same care as if it were our own.
